Mumbai: After the killing of Osama Bin Laden reportedly in Abottabad, Pakistan, global alerts have been sounded. India’s commercial capital Mumbai, which witnessed 26/11 terror attacks resulting in tense relations between India and Pakistan, has also been put on high alert.
Fearing a possible attack due to uneasy relations with Pakistan, Mumbai’s additional Police Commissioner S.P. Yadav told, “High alert has been declared in Mumbai and we have increased patrolling, checkings at railway stations, religious and other sensitive places like Bhaba Atomic Research Center.”
