Dubai : A high-level team from the ministry of interior of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has paid a visit to the New Scotland Yard’s Crime Academy in Britain to get an insight into how police personnel are trained.
The UAE delegation led by Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Fahad, director of the Dubai Police Academy, visited training sites for cadets, investigating officers, forensic officials, crime scene photographers and forensic road traffic accident investigators.
They also toured the Crime Museum.
Bin Fahad said the visit falls within the ministry’s plans to unify police academies across the UAE by learning best practices in international police institutions.
