New Delhi : Anguished over the gang-rape of a young woman, a lady lawyer Wednesday told the Delhi High Court that hanging the accused was the only way to end rapes.
“Just hang one person in public, no one will dare do it again. Otherwise every day such petitions will come and people won’t stop committing this heinous crime,” said lawyer Ritu Kaul.
The advocate’s remark came when the court took cognizance of the Sunday night rape in a bus.
