Total number of candidates – 1,098
Total numbers of women candidates – 76
Assembly constituency with maximum number of candidates – Gorakhpur Urban – 31
Assembly constituency with minimum number of candidates – Saidpur – 10
Political parties – Bahujan Samaj Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, Samajwadi Party and others.
Number of EVMs to be used in the election – 50,309
Largest assembly constituency – Mehndawal
Smallest assembly constituency – Khadda
Total number of polling stations – 20,426
