Beijing : Fourteen people fell sick Thursday after a gas leak at a steel plant in China’s Jiangsu province.
Ten people have been hospitalized, and four remain trapped after a gas leak accident occurred at the steel plant around noon in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province, reported Xinhua.
Carbon monoxide leaked from a pipeline into a gas tank when 14 workers were carrying out maintenance work in the gas tank at the Meishan Steel Plant, said a spokesperson with the safety supervision bureau.
