Beijing : Luxury carmaker Porsche will recall over 20,000 vehicles in China, the country’s consumer quality watchdog said.
A total of 20,826 vehicles will be recalled starting March 23, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
The vehicles include Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid, Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Diesel models. These will be recalled because of a design defect in the headlights, the China Daily reported.
The defect causes the headlights to stop functioning under certain circumstances, said a report from Porsche.
The recalled vehicles were produced between March 8, 2010, and Jan 31, 2012.
