Attacking Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for saying that the killing of terrorists at the Batla House here was a stage-managed affair, the BJP asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to respond.

“(The statement) is an insult to the martyrs,” BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said, referring to a police officer who died in the September 2008 operation.

Two alleged Indian Mujahideen members were killed when police stormed the Batla House.
