New Delhi: A delegation of Khudai Khidmatgar met today the ambassador of Myanmar to register their appeal for restoring peace in Myanmar. Reports of killing of Muslims in Myanmar prompted Khudai Khidmatgar to meet the Ambassador and submit a memorandum asking Government of Myanmar to restore peace and protect the rights of minorities.
Delegation consisted of Faisal Khan, Maulana Fateh Nadvi, Faizan Arish, Inamul Hasan, Ghulam Jeelani, and Ameer Usmani.

There are continuous news of atrocities and killing of Muslims in Myanmar .This is against the principles of justice, peace and humanity. It also leads to the degradation of the peaceful image of Myanmar on International front. It is our humble request through you to appeal the Myanmar government to look into the matter and take appropriate action so as to control the situation and protect the rights of minorities’ .They should also be given basic rights which they are entitled being a citizen of Myanmar.
