Islamabad: Scattered rains are expected in Pakistan from Tuesday to Thursday, according to the meteorological department.
“Southwest monsoonal currents are likely to penetrate southern and eastern parts of the country from Sunday evening,” said Pakistan Meteorological Department director Azmat Hayat Khan.
Intermittent scattered rain-thundershowers are likely in parts of Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistani Kashmir, he said.
The farming community has been advised to harvest the rain water, Geo TV reported.
The met office further informed that onset of regular monsoon season is likely during the first week of July.
