Kabul : A former Afghan senator and three others died Saturday when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in southern part of the country, police said.
The explosion took place around 1.30 p.m. in Dahyak area of Tirinkot, the capital of Uruzgan province.
Two policemen and a local leader accompanying former senator Khiro Jan also died.
Police spokesman Farid Hahel has blamed Taliban for the attack, Xinhua reported.
