Police gave the information to Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal and said that investigation is still on.

The court after hearing the police submission listed the matter for further hearing for May 22.

The court Nov 26, 2011 passed an order to lodge a first information report (FIR) against Bedi for misappropriation of funds and cheating Vedanta Foundation.

Police in its status report said: “The investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to finalise the investigation at the earliest”.

The police had said January that investigation revealed that Microsoft had provided Rs.48 lakh to Bedi’s NGO, India Vision Foundation (IVF), besides 62 laptops and two desktop computers for promoting computer education.

According to complainant in the case and advocate Devinder Singh Chauhan, Bedi cheated various paramilitary forces and state police organisations on the pretext of providing free computer training to troopers’ families under the banner of her NGO India Vision Foundation.
