“She was admitted to AIIMS around 12 noon. The AIIMS director has constituted a three-member board for the medical examination, the report for which will be submitted within the stipulated time,” a source from the premier health institute told IANS.

“She has been admitted to an isolation ward in the emergency department,” the official added.

The board includes head of the department of gynaecology, endocrinology and cardiac department.

The 35-year old tribal teacher from Chatiisgarh’s Dantewada district had alleged foreign particles had been thrust into her private parts and her health was deteriorating.

The board of doctors has to submit its report to the Supreme Court by July 10.

Sori, accused of receiving ‘protection money’ from the Essar group on behalf of the rebels, was brought to Delhi early Wednesday for independent medical examination ordered by the apex Court.

“Yesterday (Wednesday), she could not be admitted at AIIMS due to some reasons. She was kept at a police lock-up near AIIMS which is wrong,” Sori’s counsel Colin Gonsalves told IANS.
