Air Arabia to increase frequency from Nagpur

Mumbai : Low cost airline Air Arabia Tuesday announced that it will increase the frequency of flights from Nagpur to United Arab Emirates (UAE) to four times a week starting June 15.

Air Arabia, the first international airline to fly to Nagpur will now depart from the city every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 5:05 a.m. to arrive in Sharjah at 7:05 a.m. Flights depart from Sharjah on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. (local time) to arrive in Nagpur at 4:25 a.m. IST.

“The step underscores Air Arabia’s commitment to the burgeoning Indian market and the city of Nagpur,” said Adel Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia.

Since this market attracts a lot of passenger traffic from Raipur, the increase in flight frequency will prove beneficial for the travellers from Raipur as well, Ali added.

The other destinations Air Arabia serves in India are Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Thiruvanathapuram, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Delhi and Goa.
