New Delhi: A 30-year-old man was killed and two schoolchildren were injured when a speeding truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw and a school van here Saturday, police said. The truck driver was arrested.
The incident took place around 6 a.m. in west Delhi’s Dwarka sector-6, police said.
“Auto-rickshaw driver Surjit, 30, died on the spot while two school children Milan, 10, and Sreyansh, 16, were injured,” said a police officer. The children were travelling in the van.
Truck driver Umar Din, 33, was arrested for rash driving and causing death, police said.
