Hyderabad: One more Muslim youth from Hyderabad Tayab Jaber has been arrested on Tuesday night by Bangalore police counter intelligence cell in relation to alleged Bangalore terror assassination plot. His arrest was kept secret and family got formal information of his arrest on Wednesday evening by the Bangalore police after he was shifted out of Hyderabad to Bangalore.
32 year old Tayab Jaber S/O Abdullah jabber is a resident of Barkas and used to work in a television cable company in old city. He was friend of Obaid ur Rehman who was arrested by Bangalore police one month back in the same case.
It is reported that Obaid ur Rehman and Akram Pasha from Nanded who was also arrested from Bangalore have mentioned the name of Tayab Jabber during their interrogation in police custody, both are now in Bangalore court’s judicial custody. Akram Pasha who is being presented as link of the arrested alleged assassins with their foreign handlers stayed in Hyderabad for a brief period and maintained a fruit juice center at Barkas (same area from where Tayab Jaber was arrested) before flying off to Saudi Arabia.
With the arrest of Tayab Jaber the figure of arrests so far in the Assassination conspiracy case has increased to 19 youths. Many Muslim youths including doctors, engineers, and a DRDO research scientist were arrested from Bangalore, Hubli, Nanded and Hyderabad on the charges of conspiring to assassinate Hindutva leaders and right wing Hindu journalists.
