Patna : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Monday ruled out the possibility of early elections to the Lok Sabha.
“The UPA government will survive as none of its allies will withdraw support to it. I don’t think elections will happen before 2014,” he told the media here.
He said UPA will manage the numbers to be in power and its allies will remain with it despite differences over some decisions.
Nitish Kumar’s assessment is different from that of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders who have predicted the fall of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government and early elections.
