Kathmandu : At least nine climbers in Nepal died after being buried under an avalanche on the Manaslu Mountain, police said Sunday.
A group of 25 climbers, mainly French and Germans, were near the top of the Manaslu summit (8,156-metre) when they were hit by a snow wall Saturday night, Xinhua quoted police as saying.
Thirteen climbers were rescued while nine were confirmed dead and three others were missing.
