Khartoum: Fourteen workers of an oil company, a joint venture of India, South Sudan, and Malaysia, operating in South Sudan were killed Thursday during violent clashes between armed groups.
The workers belong to the Sudd Petroleum Operating Company, a joint venture of India, Malaysia and South Sudan, reported Xinhua citing an official in a Chinese oil company operating in South Sudan.
The armed groups were South Sudan’s Dinka and Nuer tribes.
