Three hospitals — Lady Reading Hospital, Hayatabad Medical Complex and Ayub Teaching Hospital — would offer the services. The first two will get Rs.25 million each while the third will get Rs.10 million.
Patients will be treated for free irrespective of their financial status for one year.

The daily said many patients cannot afford the Rs.300,000 cost of the treatment.
The chief minister also said the government has allocated Rs.500 million for free treatment of hepatitis patients, and another Rs.100 million for free treatment of people suffering from cancer.
