New Delhi: Khudai Khidmatgar organised a peace prayer for unity among communities at Shanti stupa near Millenium Park, New Delhi. As a part of the programme a delegation of Khudai Khidmatgar had a meeting with Katsu behan, well known Indian Buddhist religious leader and peace activist and chairperson of vishwa Shanti stoop at her residence.
On the occasion of this programme Khudai Khidmatgar leader Faisal Khan said, “We are aware that the inhuman attack on Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya will make a rift between the two peace loving communities and will make more innocent people to face the troubles by this blast and aftermath. To repeat and strengthen the solidarity and unity amongst the communities, we strongly condemn the cowardly terror attack, it shows that to disturb the good relation among communities in this World, but we won’t be silent after seeing these forms of activities, because we believe in peace and we will succeed with Peace.”
Khudai Khidmatgar believes that every religion teaches peace.
Other prominent activist who participated in this programme are Prof. VK Tripathy from Sadbhav Mission, Veena Behan from Gandhi Global Family, Haneef Shastri, Ramesh Bhai from Gandhi Peace Foundation, Inamul Hasan, Mohd Faizan,Baboo Sahab from Aligarh Muslim University and others.
