New Delhi: The National Service Scheme (NSS), Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with Rotary Clubs of Indraprastha, Okhla together organized a “Blood Donation Camp” on October 24, 2013 from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
The camps was held at three different venues on campus. These are:
(a) Jamia Main Campus
(b) Centre for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences
(c) Faculty of Engineering & Technology Campus
The aim of the drive is to collect 500 units of blood.
This is not the first time that the university community has organized a Blood Donation Camp on campus. The NSS has been extremely active in organizing several such camps in the past too where students and other members of the university community have come forward to donate blood.
