New Delhi : The Rajya Sabha was Friday adjourned for 15 minutes after members protested against TDP MP Murli Mohan Maganti’s comment advising women to dress in a dignified manner.
As the house met for question hour, MPs created an uproar over the issue, disrupting the house proceedings.
Amid the din, Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the house for 15 minutes.
The Telugu Desam Party member made the statement in the Lok Sabha Thursday while the house was debating the issue of crime against women.
