Lucknow: Rihai Manch (Forum for the Release of Innocent Muslims imprisoned in the name of Terrorism) has issued a statement condemning the summon Cyber Cell of Mumbai Police sent to TCN over interview of Advocate Mehmood Pracha, where he questioned the role of now Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria in falsely implicating Muslim youth on terror charges.
Spokespersons of Rihai Manch, Shahnawaz Alam and Rajeev Yadav said that the incident proves how Mumbai police want to stifle all justice loving voices. They are abusing their power, they added.
Advocate Mohammad Shoaib, President of Rihai Manch, who too has faced personal attacks for defending terror accused, has demanded a fair inquiry into the role of Police.
