New Delhi: Welcoming the Prime Minister Narendra Modi statement that ‘Indian Muslims will live and die for India’, the President of All India United democratic Front and member of Parliament Maulana Badruddin Ajmal termed it very important because this factual statement came from a person who holds prestigious post of PM.
“This bold statement of PM Modi should be appreciated from all sections of people because it is slap on the face of those people who are busy in spreading hatred and violence in the country” he said.

“Indian Muslims have always been saying that ‘they will live for India and will die for India’ and they have proved it whenever and wherever it required. So, Prime Minister’s statement is actually the acceptance of that truth. Therefore, it should not be made a political issue rather it should be used to urge the prime Minister for solutions of the problems being faced by Indian Muslims,” he said.
He said that country cannot be developed without taking all countrymen in equal board and Muslims are second largest majority of the country so developed country will remain a dream without their development but some people are trying to tarnish the image of Muslims through false propaganda against them. “I hope that Prime Minister will fulfill his promise “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and will give equal opportunity to Muslims in all the developmental works and schemes” he added.
He further said: “Muslims have contributed for the country as much as others but some miscreants for their personal or political gains always spread communal hatred against Muslims and ask certificate of patriotism. I hope Hon’ble prime Minister will take actions against such people because they are real threat to the secular and democratic building of the country.”
He said as far as terrorism is concerned, a true Muslims cannot involve any kind of terrorism because Islam does not allow it. So PM was true to say that terror group will never succeed to use Indian Muslims against their country.
It should be noted that while giving a television interview to an American channel Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that that Indian Muslims will live for India, and terror group will fail to use them against India.
