Jammu: The central and state governments are fully prepared to deal with any mischief by Pakistan or the terrorists, Jitender Singh, minister of state in Prime Minister’s Office, told reporters on Saturday.
He was responding to media queries about displaying of Pakistan flags at a separatist rally in Srinagar on April 14.
“The central and the governments are fully prepared to deal with any mischief made by Pakistan and terrorists,” he told media in Katra town of Reasi district in Jammu region on the sidelines of a two-day BJP convention.
The displaying of Pakistan flags during a separatist rally in Srinagar on April 14 is a matter of concern, but not something alarming, the minister said.
Singh said elements responsible for such incidents would be dealt with firmly to ensure such incidents are not repeated in the future.
He said the central government is committed to zero tolerance to both terror ism and separatism.
