New Delhi : The BJP Monday won five seats in the election to the eight-member Delhi Cantonment Board, while the Congress got two and the AAP one.
A total of 64 candidates contested the polls held Sunday. Delhi Cantonment is one of the 70 assembly constituencies in the capital which has its own civic body.
The Aam Aadmi Party won this seat – which has around 74,000 voters – in the 2013 assembly polls.
Delhi will elect a new 70-member legislative assembly Feb 7.
