Mumbai: Continuing lone battle to come out of ‘solitary confinement’ Zabiuddin Ansari, an accused in 26/11 terrorist attack case has now written to the honourable court apprising that if he dies in jail then jail authority should be solely held responsible for his death.
Ansari, 35 is lodged in Mumbai Central Prison under solitary confinement since last 33 months. After finding no relief from various courts, he has gone on hunger strike from August 5, 2015.
In a letter sent by Ansari on September, 3 to special judge GA Sanap, he has said that he is losing mental and physical gain due to his lodging under solitary confinement since 33 months; and even after his numerous requests to jail authority, he is being kept out of human touch without access to sunlight and fresh air.
