New Delhi : A fire broke out in a scrap dump at a slum cluster here on Saturday, a fire official said. It took one-and-a-half hours to douse it and there was no casualty.
The fire occurred around 10 a.m. in Dwarka sector 3 in west Delhi.
“At least 20 fire tenders were rushed to the site and it took about one-and-a-half hours to douse the flames,” the official said.
The reason behind the fire could not be immediately ascertained, the official added.
