Aligarh 21 January 2018: Firoz Bakht Ahmed presently Chancellor of the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Hyderabad has been appointed Chairman of the Jamia Urdu Aligarh Academic Council for two years.
In this connection Jamia Urdu Aligarh OSD Farhat Ali khan told that Firoz Bakht Ahmed has been appointed Chairman of the Jamia Urdu Aligarh Academic Council for two years. He added that presentably Firoz Bakht Ahmed is the Chancellor of the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Hyderabad. He told that Firoz Bakht Ahmed is the grandnephew of first education minister of India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He is an educationist and columnist par excellence. He is prolific writer, an inimitable orator, a visionary and an activist . Farhat Ali Khan told that the aim of Firoz Bakht Ahmed has served the Urdu language and modernized madarsas.
Registrar Shamoon Raza Naqvi said that the contribution of Chancellor of MANUU Firoz Bakht Ahmed is very important. He is savior who imitated protection of monuments in Delhi. He is also writer and has published many books in Urdu especially on children. He is also journalist.
It may be known the Jamia Urdu Aligarh is the oldest distance education center in country. Since 1939 the Jamia Urdu Aligarh is educating masses trough Urdu medium across the country.
