Bhopal : Three juvenile delinquents Monday escaped from a detention home in Indore, the police said Tuesday.
"The accused called the security guard on the pretext of wanting to use the toilet. When the guard took them to the toilet, they first went in and came out saying that the grills inside the toilet were broken. As soon the guard entered the bathroom, the trio overpowered him, snatched his keys and locked him inside the bathroom before escaping from the jail," jail superintendent D.C. Jain told IANS.
The juvenile home administration, however, informed the police about five hours after the incident when they failed to trace the escapees.
All three, convicted for theft, had been in the juvenile home for the past one year.
About a month ago, 19 under-trails had escaped from another juvenile home in the same area.
