Islamabad’s Lal masjid resumes media operation

Islamabad : Islamabad’s Lal Masjid or red mosque on Saturday announced it has resumed its media section again for the first time after the security forces stormed it last month in a major operation.

Around 103 people, mostly students of religious seminaries, were killed in the operation.

Emails were sent to newspapers and news agencies with the announcement Lal Masjid site is back now.

Dusk on 10 July, witnessed the fall of a gallant warrior. Perhaps the bravest this land has seen.

His revolutionary pride refused to bow down before a system which is based on tyranny and oppression.

He might be dead but he lives through the cause his blood sanctified, was the message sent to media organizations.

“To our nation, which, is enslaved for the past three hundred years, he gave the will to resist the ruling class and the imperial powers with the slogan SHARIAT YA SHAHADAT,” it said.

“We are back with the bang. Allah-o-Akbar,” the message concluded.

The message does not carry any name of the person as to who operate media campaign.
