Patna : Vijay Krishna, a leader of Bihar’s ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) who is a prime accused in the abduction and murder of Patna businessman Satyendra Kumar Singh, has been arrested, police said Thursday.
“A team of Bihar police arrested Vijay Krishna from Faridabad in Haryana,” Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Vineet Vinayak confirmed.
Singh, 50, was abducted in the last week of May. His decomposed body was found floating in the Ganga river June 11.
Vijay Krishna’s son Chanakya is also an accused in the crime.
