Islamabad : Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Monday condemned the serial blasts in Peshawar apparently targeting the US consulate and vowed to crush the terrorists.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives, Zardari expressed his solidarity with the affected families.
Gilani ordered an inquiry into the terror attack and directed hospitals to provide the best possible treatment for the injured.
At least three powerful blasts shook the heart of Peshawar earlier Monday.
The explosions took place near the US consulate.
