Kozhikode: The distribution of the second phase of application forms for those who have been selected for the Hajj under the Kerala Hajj Committee will begin today. All those who have been selected for the Hajj pilgrimage of this year should collect the application form, fill it up and submit it along with the passport to the state Hajj Committee by June 30. Those from Malappuram and Kozhikode districts can collect the application forms from the Hajj House near the Calicut Airport. Those of the other districts will be sent the application forms via post after June 8.
The application form of this year is different from that of the previous years. Those who have applied in a group have to add their details/information in a booklet. There are seven application forms in a booklet. One cover includes five persons. The other two forms are for children below two years, if there are any. Each pilgrim need fill only one page in the booklet. If there are no enough pilgrims in a group to fill all the pages, the extra pages should remain unfilled. The Hajj Committee officials reportedly informed that only those application forms in conformity with the directions of the Committee would be received.
