Chennai: AIADMK general secretary J. Jayalalithaa has termed the Allahabad High Court judgment on the Ayodhya dispute as an admirable verdict.
In a statement issued here Thursday, Jayalalithaa, the leader of the opposition in Tamil Nadu assembly, said: “I feel that the learned judges have delivered an admirable verdict considering the extremely sensitive and potentially inflammatory nature of the dispute and its long trail of religious conflict.”
Terming the judgment as one that opens the door to the path of reconciliation, she added: “On behalf of the AIADMK, I call upon all the parties concerned to fully appreciate the spirit of the judgment and strive to evolve a solution which would make India a shining model of dynamic secularism.”
