“My supporters are not happy with the portfolios which have been allocated to me. I will take a decision after meeting with party chief Shibu Soren,” Ansari told reporters here Monday.

Reacting to Ansari’s objections, Soren’s son and Deputy Chief Minister Hemant Soren said: “Each department is important and there is much work in each department.”

Munda expanded his cabinet Friday and the portfolios were allocated Sunday.

According to sources in BJP, the departments were allocated among key alliance partners and it was the party which decided the portfolio of their ministers.

The cabinet has five JMM representatives including Hemant Soren. The state can have a maximum of 12 ministers, including the chief minister, according to constitutional provisions.
