Raipur : Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh were Thursday asked to dig out information through Right to Information Act (RTI) to “expose the corrupt Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government”.
Addressing a series of meetings here at state party headquarters, party general secretary B.K Hariprasad advised state leaders to “collect facts and figures through RTI to expose the BJP government which is mired in corruptions and scandals”.
“The only way to get rid of the BJP government, which is ruling the state since December 2003, is to expose it before public. The government is surely involved in scandals but we have to tell the public by facts and figures,” Hariprasad told Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) office-bearers.
Later, he told media persons that Congress was working on a strategy to “Root Out BJP in 2013”, and state party leaders will soon prepare a comprehensive chargesheet against the government and handed it over to President Pratibha Patil.
The state goes to assembly polls in late 2013.
