Macau : India outplayed Pakistan for the second time at the Asian Indoor Games being played here and annexed the gold medal for kabaddi at the competition.
It was India’s ninth gold medal of the Games.
India won all their six matches in the competition.
In the final, India led Pakistan by a convincing 17-8 and then completed a 35-17 win.
India had four lona points in the first half and two more in the second. Lona means dismissing the entire opposition and forcing them in a second time. In comparison, India did not concede any lonas.
Pakistan took the silver medal, while Iran took bronze.
