New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS) India crushed hosts Saudi Arabia 3-0 in their Group C qualification match for the under-16 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Championship in Dammam, according to information received here.
The win Sunday night at the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahad Stadium was India’s second in the tournament after they defeated Lebanon by the same score Thursday.
Malsawmfela (42nd, 50th) and Ralte Lalrindika (65th) struck for India, who led 1-0 at the break.
Earlier, India was held 2-2 by Iraq and will now play Bhutan in the last league match Wednesday.
