Our publicity skills not that great: BJP leader

Comparing the key points on which social activist Anna Hazare and his team led a mass movement, Irani said: “Black money was an issue which L.K. Advani had taken up in the last Lok Sabha elections”.

“The Right to Recall that Arvind Kejriwal (of Team Anna) took up is something that was passed in the Gujarat assembly in 2008 and 2009. Now…maybe our publicity and public relation skills are not that great,” she told a news channel.

Talking about Modi’s fast, the television actress said: “He had always said that he should be judged on the Supreme Court directive and not on any allegation by some NGOs who have made an industry out of him.”

A galaxy of top BJP leaders, including Advani, were present here as Modi was to begin his fast.
