Kabul : A powerful explosion hit Jalalabad town in eastern Afghanistan Thursday, injuring 12 people, the authorities said.
The blast took place in Nangarhar province, 120 km from Kabul, provincial administration spokesman Ahmadzia Abdulzai said. The bomb was detonated by remote control, Xinhua reported.
