New Delhi : The Supreme Court Friday issued notices to the central government and the Uttar Pradesh government on a petition over the misuse of administrative machinery to organise rallies of politicians belonging to ruling parties.
A bench comprising Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and Justices R.V. Raveendran and J.M. Panchal issued the notice. The bench also directed the petitioner to implead other states in his petition.
