Kolkata: Aligarh Muslim University – Murshidabad Campus work should start immediately voiced Muslim Intellectuals in A Round Table Meeting on Aligarh Campus in Murshidabad organized by Students Islamic Organisation of India on 28th April at Murshidabad District Journalist Association Hall, Baharampur, Murshidabad.
SIO state President Sarwar Hossain said, The Aligarh Muslim University Campus in Murshidabad was inaugurated by Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on 20th November, 2010 and a few courses started on a rented home from 6 March 2011. But main campus building has not been started. It should be resolved as soon as possible. To raise awareness inside the Muslim society this kind of seminar as well as round table meetings will be organized throughout the Bengal, he said.

Delegates from the different areas of Murshiabad district attended the seminar.
All the speakers discussed about the present situation of Aligarh Campus in Murshidabad and what is the way to solve the land dispute. a common platform under the banner `Aligarh Muslim University Implementation Morcha’ was formed to take this initiative.
The house of the Round Table Meeting selected a convener to Rafiqul Islam, Member of the Executive Memmber of SIO State Committe . The Murshidabad District Correspondent of the Telegraph Alamgoir Hossain, Journalist Aminul Islam, Abdus Samad, SIO state Joint Secretary Masiur Rahman, District SIO president Abdullahil Kafi, District leader of Minority Youth federation Tajammul Hossain and many personalities were present in this round table meeting. They said, they will submit a Memorandum to the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and will organize the movement on this topic.
