Chandigarh : Narnaul town in Haryana was freezing Thursday morning with the minimum temperature registering 0.5 degrees Celsius, Met officials said here.
Though the minimum temperature rose slightly at some places since Wednesday, the cold wave over Punjab and Haryana continued along with fog.
Three deaths have been reported in Punjab since December. Two were from Amritsar and one from Hoshiarpur.
Chandigarh saw a high of 10.1 degrees Celsius and a low of 4.7 degrees since Wednesday. Amritsar too had a chilly day Wednesday with a high of only 9.6 degrees.
Met officials said the cold wave would continue for the next few days.
