New Delhi: It was a chilly Saturday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season’s average. However, Sunday is expected to be pleasant.
“The day will start with shallow fog. However, the sky will remain mainly clear throughout the day,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Sunday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature Saturday was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
The city has received 9.7 mm rainfall since Friday.
Friday’s maximum temperature was recorded four notches below average at 21.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius.
