State Samajwadi president Hafiz Rashid Ahmed Choudhury said that the party may not win but it will try to send across a strong message against the ill-practices of the political parties.
“We just want to send a message across to the society regarding our aim and aspiration. We will fight against communalism and corruption which are the biggest threats at the moment for the state and the country as well. If we can do that it will be our success,” Ahmed Choudhury said.
Accordingly the party also declared the names of four candidates while the rest will be decided within a week. Rinku Malakar will fight from Karimganj while party vice president Ratul Choudhury will be contesting from Mangaldai constituency and Abdul Awal will be seen contesting from Barpeta. Former minister Aflazur Rahman will be contesting from Dhubri. They will declare the candidate names for Guwahati and Silchar constituency soon along with the party manifesto.
Ahmed Choudhury who is a former working president of AIUDF said that the party’s stand is clear against Congress, BJP and AIUDF. “If BJP is known for communalism the Congress is famous for corruption.
