New Delhi : AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Monday blamed the central government for initiating a probe against its MP Bhagwant Mann for alleged breach of parliament’s security.
“The suspension of Mann from Parliament till August 3 by Modi government is like strangling the common man in a democracy,” the Aam Aadmi Party leader said.
“Was allowing (Pakistani intelligence agency) ISI to probe (the) Pathankot terror attack (an act of) patriotism by” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanjay Singh asked in a tweet.
Mann, an AAP MP from Punjab, triggered a row last week after he shot a video of his journey from home to Parliament House, including past various security points, and posted it on the social media.
Political parties called it a breach of Parliament’s security and sought action against him. Mann later apologized to the Lok Sabha Speaker and removed the video from Facebook.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Monday formed a nine-member panel to probe Mann’s act.
