Damascus : Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa and Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad discussed Saturday the Lebanese crisis, preparations for the 20th Arab Summit and proposals for its draft agenda.
The official statement by the presidential court gave no further details on the meeting, except that it was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Muallem.
Moussa and Al-Muallem are expected to meet later today to discuss developments in Lebanese, the Palestinian territories and Iraq, as well as Arab Summit preparations. They will hold a joint press conference on results of the Arab League chief’s visit.
