Damascus : Iranian and Syrian Foreign Ministers, Manuchehr Mottaki and Walid Al-Mu’allem respectively, discussed the developments in the Middle East region, particularly in Lebanon and Palestinian territories.
Both men held their meeting in Damascus airport before Mottaki concluded a few hour visit to Syria, a foreign ministry statement said on Saturday.
No further details were available.
An Arab diplomatic source told KUNA earlier Saturday that foreign ministers of Iran, Syria, Qatar and Oman held a meeting here on the political standoff in Lebanon and the upcoming Arab summit.
