Donald Payne, congressman for New Jersey, withdrew his support to the former First Lady and gave it to the Illinois legislator, reported Fox News TV network.

The same action was taken by Representative for Oregon Peter DeFazio, who expressed his support to Obama.

Next May 20 will take place democratic primary elections in Oregon, one of the six swing-vote states of the Union.

Another success for Obama´s aspirations was the support given by chairman of the American Public Servants Federation, John Gage, who is also Democrat superdelegate.

On the other hand, ex presidential candidate George McGovern withdrew his support to Clinton, calling her to end her campaign and gave his vote to Obama.

Another who seems to abandon the Clinton ship is Senator Dianne Feinstein, who announced her intention of talking to her to know what her strategy will be over the next few weeks.

According to specialized website Real Clear Politics, Obama has the support of 1,854 delegates over 1,696 siding with Clinton, of the total of 2,025 votes required to be approved as candidate for the Party.

However, as none of the contenders will reach the figure due to the few commissioners pending decision, superdelegates (796) assume a more relevant role and could incline the scale.

Party statutes establish that superdelegates are leaders of the organization and state, federal or local officials which may vote according to their convenience without following popular results.
